    "Intensive Skills Day" provides the opportunity for you to spend one day (the day prior to the main seminar) focusing on the craft of writing and other intensive skill sessions led by industry professionals and bestselling authors. You'll choose two sessions: one three-hour session for the morning, and another for the afternoon. We will notify you when it is time to choose the options. Workshops to be determined.

Superstars has the privilege of working with Laura Hayden at Author, Author! to consign books at her bookstore during Superstars. Please download the form below and follow the directions to offer your books for sale during our conference.

Author, Author! Consignment Agreement

Apply for a table at the Superstars Bookstravaganza!

Additional to the Author, Author! bookstore, we host a public book sale on one night during our conference, a tradition we've named the Superstars Bookstravaganza!—a publicized, multi-author event. To apply for table space at this event, you must download the Author, Author! Consignment Agreement above and follow the directions for Author, Author!, and you must fill in this survey before January 1, 2025. Table space is limited and applicants will be accepted based on several elements including, but not limited to, genre, number of titles available, author experience, volunteerism, and more.


NOTE: Consignments intended for Bookstravaganza are due to Author, Author! by 5 p.m. MT on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. Our apologies in advance, but our staff will be hauling books and setting up for Bookstravangza by then and will not have time to handle any last-second consignments or additions.

    This is a unique opportunity to spend time with the amazing James A. Owen, Superstars Founder and bestselling author and illustrator.     Ticket is nonrefundable after January 25, 2025. Ticket is transferable, although allergies and special requests cannot be accommodate in this instance.


The Superstars Banquets with Guest Speakers

This is a special occasion where Superstars attendees enjoy a gourmet meal in the company of fellow writers at a table hosted by one of our esteemed faculty members. The intimate setting allows meaningful conversations and connections. Formal attire is encouraged but not required.

For 2025, we are hosting two Superstars Banquets, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening. Those attending the banquets will have the opportunity to request to dine with a table host who shares a similar publishing concentration— traditional publishing, indie/self publishing, or to indicate whether either is fine. We're looking forward to hosting our banquets at the gorgeous Cheyenne Mountain Resort!

Endowments and Scholarships

Help us fund new writers! Superstars is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit and we offer scholarships each year to writers who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial circumstances. Scholarships are funded by sales of anthologies published by WordFire Press as well as by contributions from individuals. All monies received by the endowments funds are distributed to scholarship winners, without a single penny subtracted for administrative costs. These donations are tax deductible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel by December 31, 2025 will receive a refund of 95% of the amount paid, not including processing fees. 

On or after January 1, 2025, refunds are granted for instances of bona fide emergencies (which are at the discretion of Superstars administration). Amount of the refund may vary after the January 1 cut off.

If you would rather roll your registration credit to the next conference year (available one time and at the sole discretion of Superstars administration) email us with your request.
