Prologue: Wednesday Intensive Skills Day - February 4, 2026
"Intensive Skills Day" provides the opportunity for you to spend one day (the day prior to the main seminar) focusing on the craft of writing and other intensive skill sessions led by industry professionals and bestselling authors. You'll choose two sessions: one three-hour session for the morning, and another for the afternoon. We will notify you when it is time to choose the options. Workshops to be determined.

Those who sign up for Intensive Skills Day can also get $10 off for the MP3 recordings taken during the rest of the conference.

Upgraded Seating Option

Preferred Seating
Preferred Seating allows you to select a reserved seat in one of the front rows in the main seminar room for the entirety of the conference. This includes Intensive Skills Day if you are attending. There are also seats held for Preferred Seating at the front of all the other classrooms. In addition, Preferred Seats in the main room have dedicated power outlets for your electronic devices. Plus your "swag bag" will contain special goodies!

The Superstars Banquets with Guest Speakers

This is a special occasion where Superstars attendees enjoy a gourmet meal in the company of fellow writers at a table hosted by one of our esteemed faculty members. The intimate setting allows meaningful conversations and connections. Formal attire is encouraged but not required.

We host two Superstars Banquets, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening. Attendees will have the opportunity to request to dine with one of our VIP Guest Speakers as a table host. We're looking forward to hosting our banquets at the gorgeous Cheyenne Mountain Resort!

Endowments and Scholarships

Help us fund new writers! Superstars is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit and we offer scholarships each year to writers who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial circumstances. Scholarships are funded by sales of anthologies published by WordFire Press as well as by contributions from individuals. All monies received by the endowments funds are distributed to scholarship winners, without a single penny subtracted for administrative costs. These donations are tax deductible.

Superstars General Endowment

We're pushing Superstars in a new direction in order to help writers improve their careers with what we teach. The funds for this endowment will go toward that mission in many ways ranging from bringing in top industry professionals and special guest instructors to offering the best and most current information available in order to augment the career paths of our attendees.

Eric Flint Alternate Possibilities Endowment

Eric Flint was an author, editor, publisher and a beloved friend and founder of Superstars. Eric passed away on July 17, 2022. He helped shape and foster the writing careers of many of the authors at Superstars.

Expanding Universe Endowment

Our goal is to increase the diversity of Superstars and provide an opportunity for people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ persons who might not otherwise be able to afford the conference. We want to see the industry open up to these unique voices and interesting perspectives. Superstars is proud to present the Expanding Universe Scholarship.

David Farland Writing Endowment

David Farland, one of the founders of Superstars, was a beloved member of the writing community, a mentor and coach to hundreds of talented new authors. Thus, it’s exciting and appropriate for us to name this scholarship after Dave and call it a “writing endowment."

Don Hodge Memorial Scholarship

In memory of Superstars’ beloved Tribe member, Don Hodge, scholarships to attend the Seminars are awarded to deserving writers who would not be financially able to attend otherwise.

Prodigal Tribe Endowment

Superstars awards two scholarships to previous Seminars attendees to enable them to return once more. Applicants for the Prodigal Tribe Scholarship should include an answer to the following question within their personal essay: What will returning to Superstars do for your writing career?

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel by December 31, 2025, will receive a refund of 95% of the amount paid, not including processing fees.

On or after January 1, 2026, refunds are granted for instances of bona fide emergencies (which are at the discretion of Superstars administration). Amount of the refund may vary after the January 1 cut off.

If you would rather roll your registration credit to the next conference year (available one time and at the sole discretion of Superstars administration) email us with your request.
